Our Approach to the Circular Economy
Our vision is a permanent, closed textile loop: raw materials that are returned to new production cycles again and again without losing quality — a cycle that can repeat indefinitely, rather than ending after a single use.
At present, downcycling remains the most common option for used textiles across the industry. Carl Weiske's ambition is therefore to develop a recycling system that can turn used textiles into high-quality yarn, cycle after cycle. This requires circular product design from the very beginning.
We are firmly convinced that a permanent, high-quality circular economy will be possible in the textile industry in the future — and we are already working intensively to make this vision a reality.
