Since 1903 the name Weiske is connected
and committed to the topic of yarns.
Eponym and founder Carl Weiske was an agent for a major spinning company
in England: "Fine Spinners and Doublers in Manchester" for whom
he sold yarns in Northern Bavaria.
Despite a lot of adverse circumstances during the following decades the
company remained privately owned by the family Weiske and survived war
and slackening of economy. Lead by the founder's son, Dieter Weiske, the
company started exports to Western European countries in 1962. Later on
the company expanded to France and the USA.
The assembly of an own and modern logistic centre in Oberkotzau an der
Saale was a prominent step to ensure and extend the recognized favourable
market position in 1979.
With Thomas Weiske, the next generation came to the fore in 1991. Besides
of the proven, traditional qualities he pursues for the first time a holistic
company philosophy: Highly motivated employees, collective goals, a measurable
increase in quality and optimal customer orientation with new service
concepts become the corner stones of Europe-wide success.
This consistent pursuit of perfection brought us the bavarian quality
award.
And the track record continues... day by day!
